Habitat for Humanity is a global nonprofit housing organization working in local communities across all 50 states in the U.S. and in approximately 70 countries. Habitat’s vision is of a world where everyone has a decent place to live.
Marshall County Habitat for Humanity is an independent affiliate, serving on a case-by-case basis. Our efforts are directed towards constructing new homes, renovating existing ones, revitalizing neighborhoods, and advocating for affordable housing, all fueled by our resource development initiatives.

Marshall County Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit organization whose primary goal is to work in partnership with local citizens to build or renovate decent, affordable homes. Habitat for Humanity International of which MCHFH is an affiliate, is an ecumenical Christian housing ministry. The Habitat Thrift Shop functions as an extension of the organization by supplying funds for building.

The process to become a homeowner can take six months to two years and requires you to commit to paying a portion of closing costs and mortgage. This is a long-term homeowner program, not emergency housing.

Shop Locally. Habitat for Humanity Thrift Shop is a source of income for our building and home repair projects, while also providing jobs and volunteer opportunities in our community. Great finds of previously owned furniture, home decorating, cards, accessories, great book selections, exercise equipment, vintage records to CD's and DVD's, electronics, tools, crafts, clothing, shoes, and a room full of toys.
If you are donating any of the above, please make sure items are in clean, undamaged condition. Clothing is to be in bags, other items in boxes.
No mattresses or box springs are accepted.
